William R. Stroud is a principal of Triad Properties and is responsible for Triad's acquisitions, developments, and dispositions. He has been responsible for identifying opportunities, underwriting markets, and preparing the due diligence for more than 8.0 million square feet of office and industrial acquisition and development. From 1984 to 1993, Mr. Stroud participated in numerous real estate partnerships which were responsible for the leasing, development, and management of more than 1.5 million square feet in Huntsville and Atlanta.

Prior to beginning his 25-year real estate career, Mr. Stroud was a CPA and was employed by a local CPA firm and by Arthur Anderson in Atlanta. Mr. Stroud earned a MTA from the University of Alabama in 1982 and a BS in accounting, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Alabama.

He has served on the Board of Directors for Compass Bank, Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce, and the American Heart Association. He is a member of the Huntsville Hospital Foundation Development Council, Huntsville Rotary Club, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Mr. Stroud resides in Huntsville with his wife and three children.
